‘Tis the season to be baking… and I am super excited to present my holiday gift to you:
Starting today, I will share a scrumptious recipe each day for 12 days to get you set for the holidays. I hope you will follow along in the series and try out a few recipes, too! So without further ado… here’s a terrific recipe to make with the kids in preparation for Santa’s arrival.
On Christmas Eve, our tradition is to dress the kids in new pajamas, watch a holiday movie together, and tuck them into bed with the story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer or The Night Before Christmas. This year we’ll start the fun (and tasty) tradition of leaving milk and cookies out for Santa Claus with this delicious chocolate chip cookie recipe.
These cookies deliver a soft and chewy bite with a nice balance of chocolate chips. They won’t keep Santa trim, but they may put you on his all-time Nice List!
Speaking of the Nice List, you could make your neighbors and friends’ with these adorable Cookies for Santa: Gifts in a Jar.
They make great gifts on their own. Or you can pair them with a holiday children’s book or kitchen towels. Super sweet.
